A unique seminar during the Nobel Week

Yes, the title of this story is mine. The scientists or the organizing party would never say something that sensational. But it might just be true.

This Monday, The Swedish Federation of Young Scientists held the annual “Stockholm International Youth Science Seminar” at the conference venue Cirkus, in Stockholm.

25 of the world’s foremost young scientists are invited to Stockholm to take part in a unique science and culture program during December’s Nobel Week. All participants are between the ages of 18-25 and have been selected at international science fairs and by top-ranking universities on the basis of their extraordinary research efforts.

Besides attending Nobel events, and meeting Nobel Prize Laureates, the young scientists also participate in this seminar where they present their research to a broad audience of Swedish high school and university students.

The seminar is an opportunity for Swedish high school and university students to meet some of the world’s most talented young scientists, take part in a guided tour displaying amazing scientific projects, and attend an exciting and inspiring guest lecture. It’s also free of charge.
